Photographs from yesterday’s Stop Black Deaths In Custody rally on Gadigal Land.
Last year, NSW recorded its highest number of First Nations deaths in custody. There have already been 3 deaths this year.
Focus was on the case of Patrick Fisher, who was killed after falling from a balcony during a police incident in Waterloo on this day in 2018. Patrick Fisher’s mother was present at yesterday’s rally.
Protestors marched from Hyde Park to the Surry Hills Police Station.
The rally was organised by The Blak Caucus.
