Photographs from today’s rally against recent raids by police on clubs along Oxford Street over the last couple of weeks which speakers say targeted LGBTQIA+ communities, recalling the police violence that has historically been inflicted on minority groups in Sydney and that continues today, symptomatic of the creeping state-sponsored police repression in NSW. There have been accusations that police lied about the nature of these raids.
The rally took place at Taylor Square, Darlinghurst on Gadigal Nura, before marching down Oxford Street under heavy police presence.
