Yesterday saw around 2,000 people rally outside the ALP State Conference at Sydney Town Hall on Gadigal Land to protest the Minns Labor Government’s support for Israel’s military actions in Gaza and Lebanon. The conference took place as Labor Party delegates were holed up inside Town Hall, protected by a ring of steel fencing and hundreds of police, including the riot squad, mounted police and PolAir.
The rally took place at the same location of February’s police violence against protesters during Israel’s President, Isaac Herzog’s visit to Sydney.
